It was considered sacred by the ancient Greeks and was used for purifying the body and cleansing sacred spaces before ceremonies took place. Today, Therapeutic-Grade Essential Oil of Hyssop is used to clean the body inside and out. It is thought to be supportive of the immune, digestive and nervous systems, and its effects on the respiratory system and improving breathing have also been studied. Breathe in the vapors for about 10 minutes and you should feel much better. Hyssop is famously used in the French liqueur Chartreuse, but its uses go far beyond beverages.
