For sure, there are a lot of books, magazines, internet sites that offer breakup advice. If you are surviving a recent breakup, you might probably want to read other people's opinion and breakup advice just by surfing the internet or buying self-help books. In this way, you are finding ways to comfort yourself and heal your broken heart. You might even feel that songs that express rejection and hopelessness about love were written just for you; you can even relate to poems that express broken-heartedness. You can read tons of breakup advices, but the question is - which one will work for you?

Breakup is a painful experience but do not tell something about your ex that will taint his character. He/she might be really that bad, but badmouthing him/her is really a waste of your precious time and energy. Stay away from negative energies such as being pessimistic, bitterness, passiveness, frustration, loneliness and self-pity.

Probably, all of breakup advices that will come across will only mean one thing: Get an exciting life after a breakup! Is this the greatest breakup advice? Well - yes it is! Here are some tips to start an exciting life and put off that unwanted obsession in your life:

1. Cry it out and release the pain. After that, get back to your life.

2. Indulge yourself. Get a great massage, sport a new hairdo, eat well, get exercise and stay fit and healthy. You can read bible texts.

3. Learn something new by earning a new hobby. You can even learn a new language, a new song, or a new sport. These things will make your mind busy. These things will make you learn a new skill that will make yourself feel good.

4. Find a new prospect. What does this mean? Well, yes, find a new girlfriend or boyfriend! Show off your interesting side. This is one way of rebuilding your self-esteem.

5. Feel great about being single. Love your freedom; love yourself. Be self-independent and reliant.

6. Accomplish something great and worthwhile. Success is the sweetest revenge; it might give your ex some second thoughts about leaving you.

7. Be with people who are supportive and helps you forget the pain. Avoid those ones that pry in into your deepest emotion.

8. Allow yourself to grow spiritually and mature emotionally. Be an active member of your church. Join the church choir. Participate in any outreach programs. Memorize a bible verse.

Bear in mind that surviving a breakup not an obstacle or an unpleasant event; it is more of an art, an effort to counteract the work of nature. Think positively ahead, think not of any regret you've had in the relationship.

You can do all of the listed tips above or you can devise your own technique, but more importantly is to include God in your process of healing. Without his divine guidance, you will still feel lost and unsure. Having Him at your side will make you feel stronger and mature. After all, He is one source of Great True Love.
