As the perfect solution for small offices that still require high levels of performance and versatility, without the industrial level, constant output that costly, top end copy machines can produce, the Konica Minolta Di2510 / Di2510f printer is a medium volume machine that could suit a small business perfectly.

When desktop units aren't enough, but a full size copy machine is too much, Konica Minolta can offer a solution with this midgeted machine that packs a huge punch for its size. The Konica Minolta Di2510 / Di2510f holds a mid level paper capacity of 4,000 sheets; plenty to keep small, or even large, business demands operational long between refills.

New, professional level features such as a reversing automatic document feeder that allow not only for whole stacks of paper to be loaded mechanically, but for them to be flipped mechanically and scanned on both sides for double sided input. Two sided output is then made possible by a built in duplexor that comes standard with the Konica Minolta Di2510 / Di2510f.

The device's touch screen control panel comes complete with an on screen QWERTY keyboard for maximum speed in navigating menus and customizing document handling options. Using the screen, scanning can convert hard copy documents to digital files that can be sent directly from the Konica Minolta Di2510 / Di2510f to an FTP server, a URL, e mail addresses, or an IP scanner.

Resolution for both printing and copying is locked at a very base 600 x 600 dots per inch, making the Konica Minolta Di2510 / Di2510f un-ideal for imagery applications. Interestingly though, selectable exposure modes do include both photo and text / photo, as well as auto exposure, text, and manual, allowing users to adjust for particular scan results.

The Konica Minolta Di2510 / Di2510f has a platen document glass with dimensions of 11 x 17 inches, allowing for ledger sized paper to be scanned or copied via reduction to letter sized paper, or printing full size. The oversized glass is also perfect for scanning and copying large three dimensional objects such as books. Copies can be made of scans in quantities from 1 to 99, and an interrupt ability allows cancellations of large projects that are printing incorrectly.

32 MBs of memory come standard with the device, but 32, 64, and 128 MB upgrades are optional. For maximum page data storage (2,000 pages) a 40 GB hard disk can be added as well. Print speeds run at 25 pages per minute for letter sized portrait prints, 20 ppm for landscape, 17 pages per minute for legal paper, and 14 ppm for ledger size. The printer's first copy time is excellent, clocking in at only 5.3 seconds or less, while warm up time is 17 seconds.

The Konica Minolta Di2510 / Di2510f is a printer with a specific consumer in mind, and it succeeds as a perfect way to squeeze a wide array of professional, business level print capabilities into a smaller office space, for a reasonable price.
