Dream Dictionary: The Key to Understanding Your Dreams

The mystical and mysterious dream world often comes with many myths, legends and even tools for enhancement. The Sandman, a dream catcher and dream dictionaries are among many that you would find associated with dreams.

A dream dictionary is a very useful tool to help you analyze dreams. Most people believe that dreams are as unique as are individuals. Generally, dreams are connected with your reality - your knowledge, your emotions, your experiences, your challenges and even your frustrations all play a big role in what you dream about.

Dream interpretation should then be specified to your particular dreams in relation to actual events that happen to you. However, there are dream themes that are common to a lot of people. A dream dictionary can help you interpret dreams scenes based on theme. Some that you will likely find in a dream dictionary can include:

1.Chase dreams - Often a response to anxiety or threats in real life, how you experience your running dream can vary in interpretation. If you are running or hiding from an attacker, a fierce animal or an unknown scary figure, it may mean you are under a lot of stress. You are trying to run away from certain problems. If, on the other hand, you happen to be the pursuer in your dream, it can represent your drive or ambition.
2.Falling dreams - May be related to instabilities or insecurities that you currently feel. Falling dreams are very common. Some cultures believe that if the dreamer does not wake up before he or she hits the ground, that person dies. There is no proof of this, and many have "survived" a falling dream.
3.Flying dreams - This lucid dream could be a representation of freedom or achievement of goals. Especially true for flight dreams where you are in full control, it is often associated with a being able to take control of challenges in real life.
4.Naked dreams - This dream theme is more common than you think. You may find yourself completely or partially nude in a dream, and how you react to it signifies what it means. For instance, if you feel ashamed and mortified of your nakedness, it represents a sense of vulnerability. This dream may also be interpreted as being caught off guard.

There are several other common themes with different dream interpretations. Money, animals, food, body parts are among the many things you can easily find in a dream dictionary. Although it is not as accurate as an actual dream analysis report, a dream dictionary can help you somewhat understand what your dreams actually mean.
