Research proposals and thesis applications are important for writing academic theses. However, it is quite bewildering that different professors tend to have diverse requirements for thesis applications. This becomes more complicated when you have never done it before. The following tips will enable you to present an accurate thesis application to your professors in the very first go.

How to Write a Thesis Application!

Through a research proposal, you present your personal ideas about your thesis to your professor. The key purpose the research application is to describe to your professor, the following points.

1. The quantity of the research you have conducted for the preparation of your thesis.
2. The quantity of time you had to spend while collecting all the information, doing analysis and putting your ideas in order.
3. The fact that you are providing fresh and original ideas to your field of research as well as your thesis application.
4. That your own interests and capabilities are quite relevant to your thesis topic.
5. The thesis application can also be used to display your research methodology, predict any future problems which may occur with results, and to arrange possible substitutes and interventions if need be.

Different Parts of a Thesis Application

Following are different parts of a thesis application:

1. The purpose of your research paper is to present your thesis application and describe the methods of solving it.

2. Prepare a concise literature review wherein you review previous major works on your topic and reveal the intrinsic arguments contained in them. In case you are applying a theory to a problem, you can review the theories used in those works. The aim is to point out to the knowledge of previous work on your type of problem, the proof that was used, the theories that were applied and the arguments made in connection.

3. Give a description at the start of what your thesis application will be like.

4. Subsequently, state your notion that you are presenting in your thesis application in order to distinguish it from other arguments. If you are putting up a theory, you need to give a precise idea of that theory and the evidences that you are going to use in its support.

5. The following section is required to be a short description of different paragraphs you that will prepare for your thesis.

6. Make a brief list of your references, discussions and bibliographies. You also need to mention the books and other material that you consulted for information such as databases, websites, critiques, interviews, etcetera.

7. You should not elongate the thesis application unnecessarily and keep it to 3 or 4 pages for that matter. You thesis application needs to look like a guideline pointing towards your research and thesis. If you write your research paper proposal perfectly, your thesis will also be a perfect document.
