Most printing companies, both online and offline ones, offer calendar printing services. You can be confident that they know how to treat your calendars, from printing to sorting to binding. All you have to do is choose from a list of their specifications to get the job going.

Size:

- Calendars can be printed in different sizes and different formats. There are those which are similar to posters while there are commonly multi-page calendars that can be hung on walls or propped up and placed on desks.

- The standard sizes of multipage calendars come in the 11x17 calendar that are folders into 8.5 x 11. The other size is the 12 x 24 and folds into 12 x 12 dimensions.

Pages:

- In printing, pages are set in the multiples of four. A huge sheet of paper is used and printed on. Later on, it'll be folded down the middle producing 4 pages, front and back. Wherein, a twelve-month calendar will use 24 pages, with 2 pages per month for the illustration on top. The cover pages consume an additional 4 pages, making the whole calendar 28-pages.

- Be sure to lay-out the pages of the calendars correctly. Use the template provided by printing companies to guide you. You would be able to easily follow the layout needed for submitting your calendar files.
Stock:

- Many calendars have thick cover papers for the cover pages. These cover pages may come in 100lb Gloss Cover or 100 lb Matte Cover for a shine or gloss free finish. For a more economical or cheaper choice, the cover pages can be the same as the stocks used for the inner pages.

- The 100lb Gloss Text is used for the inner pages of the calendars. It is also a thick, bright white coated paper that is ideal for color, artwork and photo reproduction. Overall, it is a premium material you can use inside and out for your calendars.

Binding:

- You can choose from two kinds of binding. A simple saddle stitch staples the calendar along the spine. Wire-O binding on the other hand involves the use of double wire loop that weaves through each hole like a spiral notebook.

- Wire-o-binding is more expensive than the saddle stitch but it allows you to open up the calendar pages in 360 degrees without difficulty.

- There is also an option to place a hole at the middle top of the page. This makes it possible and easier to hang the calendar on to the wall with a hook or any pin.

Volume:

The larger the volume of your prints, the bigger your discount. Calendars may be costly to begin with but you can obtain more prints for your money when your go for a bulkier order. You can gain twice as much calendars by only adding a hundred dollars or so.

Turnaround Time:

Turnaround time for calendars can be done in 8, 6 and 4 business days. This means that after you have approved the proof and paid your job order in full, the production time can take a full 8, 6 and 4 day period. Turnaround time does not include weekends, holidays and shipping times.
