Christmas Lights Tips

Each year I become a Christmas fanatic with the holidays approaching. I tell myself each year that I will go through all my decorations first before I purchase any new decorations. You know I cannot pass up a bargain, as the preseason decoration sales are on display as I shop. It seems every year the Christmas merchandise is display on the shelves earlier every year.

Let me give you an example for early Christmas sales, I noticed when the Halloween candy goes on the clearance shelve, the Christmas candy has just been stocked on the next isle. They also stock the shelves with the preseason Christmas lights, I cannot pass up the good deal on those Christmas lights that are swinging from the eves of the house. It seems like the manufacturers make these Christmas lights to last for one season.

It seems that strands of the lights get a little short in the wire, or a light bulb burns out. I have spent countless hours figuring out where the problem is located. I come up with the perfect solution, buy extra lights that are on clearance at the end of the season. I would rather spend a couple of extra dollars than to spend hours operating on the string of lights. All you need to do is make a mental note to purchased Christmas lights on clearance.

Every year after the Christmas season is over; I try to put more effort in storage packaging efforts, it seems the better the Christmas decorations are packed the less I have to replace each year. I believe this is true for all the decorations except for the Christmas lights, no matter how well the lights are stored you still have problems untangling the lights each year. So be prepared for the light outages buy the clearance lights before you need them.
