Samsung is the second largest manufacturer of mobile phones in the world today with a world handset market share of 15.6%. With a quad-band GSM reception, the Blue Earth also supports a dual-band 3G network. The 130MB of internal memory which is available in the phone can be further expanded up to 16GB by using microSD cards. The phone is also Wi-Fi enabled and facilitates HSDPA @3.6Mbps for fast data downloading. This attractive phone is only available in the colour Blue and includes assorted features like Bluetooth, a 3.15 MP camera, stereo FM radio, Email, GPS, media-player, Document viewer and Organiser.

The next major Samsung mobile phone to have been released in the last quarter of 2009, is AMOLED 12M. This is second phone from Samsung after the Pixon12, to sport a 12 mega pixel camera. On first look, the phone looks like a compact digital camera, but in reality it is a phone with one of the best phone cameras in the market today. The most prominent feature is the mode dial and the shutter button which is generally found in dedicated cameras. With a 3X digital zoom, the lens zooms in and out and also facilitates variable aperture. Along with tracking touch auto-focus, there are many other smart features like Auto mode, image stabilization, Beauty Shot etc. But on the core the AMOLED is a tri-band GSM phone with a support for 3G network. Other important features included in the phone ensemble are a T-DMB TV receiver, Bluetooth, Email, IM, Push Email, media-player and an Organiser.

Another important and versatile device from Samsung is the B7330 OmniaPro which was released in November 2009. The design is essentially a BlackBerry-style form with a full QWERTY keypad. The phone is enabled with Wi-Fi and also includes Bluetooth and GPS. The internal memory of the device stands at 270MB in addition to a 250MB RAM. This van however be further expanded up to 32 GB by using external memory cards. This Windows Mobile based phone is a capable messaging device and synchronises with Email clients such as Microsoft Exchange. Although a mid-range phone, this versatile phone phone includes a number of features such as Microsoft Outlook Mobile, Pocket Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, PDF viewer), Voice memo, Adobe Flash Lite, stereo FM radio, a 3.15 MP camera, applications for Windows Live, Yahoo! and AOL and HSDPA.
