Sony Ericsson G900 is a Better Phone Than Sony Ericsson G700 and Equivalent to Nokia N95 8gb

Sony Ericsson has launched two models Sony Ericsson G900 and G700 which are both 3G smart phones and loaded with some useful feature in them. Of these the Sony Ericsson G900 is more facilitated with features than Sony Ericsson G700. Even the G900 is comparable to N series phones like Nokia N95 8GB. Let us find out which models have what kind of sophistication to meet your needs.


Sony Ericsson G900 is a triband phone which supports GSM network of 900/1800/2100 and is capable of functioning is almost all places around the world. The 3G phone support UMTS 2100 frequency. Though the phone is loaded with features yet you will find it a lightweight phone which weighs only 99g. The 2.4 inches touchscreen phone supports 256K colors and has high resolution for quality video watching and image display.


Sony Ericsson G900 has an internal memory of 160MB there is card slot to to increase memory with Memory Stick Micro (M2) card. The device is equipped with Class 10 GPRS but no EDGE. There is WLAN for Wi-Fi internet access thus making it perfect choice for those who want a phone full of specifications for such functioning. The phone card slot for memory extension, GPRS, but not EDGE and wi-fi internet connectivity. The phone has other useful features which include Bluetooth, USB port and a WAP 2.0/HTML (Opera) along with RSS reader. The operating system of G700 is Symbian OS, UIQ. The multimedia section includes a 3.15 MP camera with auto focus and flash, image stabilizer and can shoot quality videos. There is a secondary video call camera in this phone too. For music entertainment you have media player and FM radio with RDS. Besides that G700 also includes - Handwriting recognition technology, stickynotes, picture editor and blogging, TrackID music recognition, document reader as well as editor and built in hands free with a battery talktime of 12 hours.


Nokia N95 8GB is a phone which one can swear by for its features. This phone beats Sony Ericsson G900 by being a quad band phone, 2.8 inches long screen, 8 GB internal memory, ARM 11 332 MHz processor, GPRS and EDGE of class 32 having facilities like HSCSD, HSDPA of 32, 296 kbps, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g with UPnP technology and built in GPS. But Sony Ericsson G900 is a good choice with handwriting recognition, TrackID system, stickynotes and others.
