The Costa Teguise is located on the eastern shore of Lanzarote. Its beaches, accommodations and shopping districts help make it one of Lanzarote's most visited holiday spots.
Those who enjoy water sports often visit the Costa Teguise for diving, windsurfing, sailing, deep sea fishing, scuba diving and more. Sports fanatics love the resort for reasons including golf, tennis, squash, paddle ball and the dozens of private sports centers. The Costa Teguise also offers an atmosphere of rest and relaxation that few other resorts can offer.
Many marine activities can be taken advantage of from the convenience of the Costa Teguise. Diving is one of the most popular sports offered by local schools and businesses. Diving is such a sought-after sport on the Costa Teguise and the surrounding areas because of the 300-days of sunshine Lanzarote receives each year.
Divers, whether looking for relaxation or adventure, will find a variety of dive opportunities to fit their mood. Crystal clear blue waters lend the perfect atmosphere to any type of dive you desire. Below the surface of the water is a whole new world. With more than 500 different species of fish in this unique aquatic environment, you're likely to stumble upon a number of them during your visit.
The Costa Teguise has many five star hotels to choose from. Some of the beachfront hotels offer all the luxuries you'd expect to find. Most hotels offer hundreds of rooms with a terrace providing ocean views from every room. Sports fans often escape to Costa Teguise to enjoy the tennis courts, gymnasiums, pools and solarium. Many local hotels also offer in-house restaurants, bars, room service and spas. The hotels located in the Costa Teguise are only a few kilometers from the Golf Club. Hotels in the area often rent for 25 Euros to more than 100 Euros per night.
