Five Ways to Write Ad Copies on 8.5 X 11 Brochure
One of the most important parts of a marketing tool like an 8.5 x 11 brochure is its ad copy. Go ahead and read yours. Study its content if you've got everything going perfectly.
There are many ways in which you could take this part of your brochure. It doesn't matter whether you have a small size, a large one or just the standard 8.5 x 11 brochure. The idea here is that you've got to talk or write clearly in order to be understood.
So how would you strategize with your ad copies?
1. Drop the poetic style. This can be done at times whenever the kind of promotion that is running suits such method. But do not use this all the time because not everyone will be amused at this manner.
It will be safer to write the ad in a casual tone. Talk to your readers and try to convince them of what you are offering. You need not promise them the moon and the stars because they don't have any use for them. Instead, pledge to them quality and excellent appearance of your materials.
2. Be direct to the point. Whatever you want to say, tell it in a way that your clients will easily get it. Do not go on about explaining one thing then jump about another. They might lose interest in the process. And that's the last thing that you want to happen. As much as possible, you want them to understand the whole message. And that can only be achieved when you utilized a style of writing that is directly addressing them in a manner meant to be easily comprehended.
3. Suit the tone according to your target audience. This can have the corresponding font to match the manner in which the ad was written. So if it's for kids, make sure that it's lively and it's engaging, especially if it's about fun events. If the ad is for specific jobs, the tone must suit that line of work.
4. Match the manner of how you write you ad according to the design of the material and also its purpose. This will work perfectly if you a have a theme for the tool and for the event or promo.
5. Do not use the generic lines. Do away with that. People are so used with all types of ad copies. They may have been sold to attractive lines in big bold letters in the old days. But now, you have to be more careful with your writing style because they do tend to be more careful now and they will not be easy to convince.
Brochures are effective marketing material. Use it any kind of promo and advertisement. Take time with its design. But you must also spend the same amount of time with how you will write the ad copies in the way that it will appeal to your target market.
Use the ample space of your 8.5 x 11 brochure to say everything what you want to say to your audience. You just have to make sure that you say it the right way.
