The Torano Manuscript

Did you know that there isn't one Garden of Eden, but two? There's the one that James Ussher (1581-1656, Anglican Archbishop of Armagh) and the Bible speaks of that happend around 4,000 BCE and then there's the one that the Troano Manuscript speaks of that was a little bit older than that. Could you say 200,000 years ago around the time that the first homo sapiens made their debut- On Mu, otherwise known as Lemuria.

Few people are aware of the lost continent of Mu; however, most have heard about Atlantis, but Mu came first.

Archaeologist William Niven, who's first major contribution to mineralogy occurred in 1889 while he was on an expedition to Llano County, Texas, on behalf of Thomas Edison, is more noted for the Niven tablets that he discovered in 1921. These tablets have been associated with lost continent theories.

James Churchward recognized the language to be that of the Lemurians- a language known as Naacal.

According to Chruchward's research (he's written five books on the subject), The Mu sent out voyagers to many lands and they called these men (are you reay for this/) mayans! The 2,600 stone tables that Niven discovered tll of the 200,000 year old civilization, which was also known as a garden of Eden.  The exact date of the writing of the Torano manuscript isn't known; however, we do find confirmation in the Chinese Buddhist's Lhasa Record.

Mu was lost, along with Atlantis around 26,000 years ago? Does that tiem frame ring a bell? On December 21, 2012, we will cross the galactic plane as we do every 26,000 years. It's probably just a coincidence.  :-)

Churchward was a major proponent of theories regarding lost continents, specifically the continent of Mu. He believed that this civilization was very advanced, but was destroyed due to natural disaster. Hmmm. After viewing Niven's tablets, Churchward strongly believed that there were a group of people that escaped destruction and migrated to other parts of the world spreading their culture and belief system. He believed that the symbols and markings found on the tablets had roots in the ancient culture of Mu.

Alas, the Torano manuscript was eventually lost during the latter part of Niven's life, during their attempted shipment from Mexico to the U.S. But, the mystery remains.   :-)
