Holden Special Vehicles has recently introduced its WM Grange, which is a luxury performance limo that comes with specification and power unmatched in Australia. The WM Grange represents an important investment by HSV and is packed with a range of unique features that makes it distinct from its domestic and imported competitors.

The new Managing Director of HSV Scott said that the launch of the all new Grange would provide the company with fresh sales drive that would shaped up a record year. According to Scott, "This car will truly build on the outstanding sales success HSV has enjoyed over the last eight months, since launching the E-series. April was the company's eighth record month of sales consecutively, with 475 retail deliveries."

The first four months of 2007 has recorded deliveries of 1,685, which is almost double that of the 2006 and is definitely way ahead of equivalent figures for 2005.

WM Grange has retained all of the luxury equipment, features, and accessories even its custom auto floor mats were maintained. The limo has everything that customers would expect from the top of the range HSV such as dual screen rear DVD player, tri-zone electronic climate control, parking assist and many more. Also incorporated in the limo is the performance characteristic that makes HSV distinct from all others.

Chief Engineer John Clark supervised the program that transformed the car to one powerful package. John Clark said, "We focused on enhancing this car, to improve drivability. Individually calibrated Magnetic Ride Control, an LS2 V8 307kW engine, a premium HSV four piston brake package and tailored Electronic Stability Control system, make WM Grange one of our best cars to wear the Lion and Helmet badge."

Chief Designer Julian Quincey was responsible for giving the car its distinctive yet subtle HSV design features. He said, "With Grange, we wanted to offer a car that would be defined as an Australian `performance and luxury flagship', without any suggestion of overstating its massive capability. The car has all the sporting grace of the critically acclaimed Senator Signature with even greater presence. Unique exterior touches include front fascia, grille, discreet rear spoiler and rear lower appliqué, while the interior boasts our exclusive steering wheel and instrumentation. The interior is available in both black and light urban, with an ambience to match the very best of the Europeans."

The HSV WM Grange is priced at $82,990, which represents more than an 8 percent reduction on the out-going model. The limo is available in HSV dealerships across Australia and will be sold in New Zealand next month.
