LG U300 - 3G Budget Mobile
LG U300 is an entry level 3G handset. So, it may not be embedded with hi-tech features, but scores pretty well nonetheless. The highlights of LG U300 would include - 1.3 Megapixels camera, dual displays and a microSD slot for extra storage space.
There is nothing flamboyant about LG U300's design, and that's the beauty of the set as well. The Latest Mobile Phones comes with a flip design and stands apart due to its curves. When flipped closed, the sides and front of the handset are curved downwards, with the bottom lip slightly exposed. Measuring just 96 x 49 x 21.9 mm, the handset is also one of the smaller 3G handsets in the market. The only complain here is that the flip mechanism is not that great though.
LG U300 features an external monochrome display, which is capable of 96 x 64 pixels. Although the display is not coloured, it does well to show details like caller ID information, time, current profile and reception. The keypad is standard with white backlights, and is pretty responsive as well. LG U300 is bombarded with buttons, so you save the time and hassle for limitless navigation, to reach for desired functionalities. There are two selection buttons, clear and back keys, answer and end call keys, as well as dedicated menu, music and video calling keys and a standard five-way navigational pad.
The 1.3 Megapixels camera of LG U300 is mounted on a 180 degree rotatable hinge. It offers dual functionalities, i.e photography as well video calling. The camera comes with a plethora of features such as image resolutions ranging from 1280x960 to 96x96, 2x digital zoom, a self timer, exposure settings and white balance presets (Auto, Daylight, Cloudy, Illuminate, Indoors).
