Introduction
Jello shots can be an excellent substitute to conventional alcoholic drinks. Not only are they easy to make they are also a lot of fun to drink; you can then modify the basic jello shot recipe to make whatever flavour of jello shot you want! For the best jello shot recipes follow the directions below in order to make a scrumptious treat that will be a hit at your next party or get-together.
What You'll Need
(Note: 1 cup = 8 ounces)
1. 6 ounces of Jello mix (usually 1 large package) - Any flavour except sugar-free
2. 16 ounces of hot water
3. 6 ounces of ice cold water
4. 20 small plastic cups or shot glasses
5. Non-stick cooking spray
6. Large mixing bowl
7. 10 ounces of 40% ABV hard alcohol
While Vodka is the most popular kind of liquor used in making jello shots, any type of hard alcohol will do. See below for a variety of Jello to Alcohol flavour combinations.
How to Make a Jello Shot
1. Pour your entire Jello packet into a large mixing bowl.
2. Mix in the hot water while stirring softly. Let stand for a couple of minutes so that the jello can fully dissolve.
3. Stir in the liquor and icy cold water.
4. Set out your pre sprayed cups and glasses on to a tray.
