There are many games to choose from for your PS3 at the moment and this article reviews a few of the more recent gaming additions. Call of Duty: World at War is very similar to Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare and in most cases this is a very good thing. The guns are very realistic, the tone is gritty and mature, and the action in the game is exciting and constantly fast-paced. World at War is still just as addictive as Modern Warfare, and it even expands the multiplayer possibilities from the previous game by allowing up to four people to play at once. This game also continues the World War II theme as the games in the series before Modern Warfare, and it does an admirable job of spicing things up. However, there are some negative points about this PS3 game, such as the well-worn gaming theme and the very similar game mechanics which are very familiar to the previous instalment. This game lacks the intuitiveness that Modern Warfare had that helped make it such a big hit but it is still a great game to play and will no doubt keep all of the first player shooter fans happy. Another game that has not been gracing the shelves for long is Mirror's Edge. This is an action platformer game that has a very clear and crisp visual style and brings back methods from past games where you had to perform sequences of moves such as, jumps, slides and grabs until you've got the moves as close to perfect as you can so that you can continue in the game. A negative about the game is that it has a tendency to trip itself up by putting a tedious jumping puzzle or a hazy objective that stops you in your tracks just as you've been going through the game quite happily. This game is perfect for those gamers who enjoy playing games that carve out their own path. Now a look at more recent times, here's a look at some games that came out for the Playstation 3 at the end of last week; Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe is a concept that's been done before but pitting fighting characters against comic book heroes still makes for a very interesting and exciting game, especially in an online setting. This game seems to opt more for the strengths that Mortal Kombat has to offer, but at times it can appear to move away from the games essence in other ways. As a result, hard core fans may be left with mixed feelings about the game, and newcomers interested in the giving the game a try may find it difficult to get used to. If you are interested in video games and consoles then the best thing to do is to compare specifications and prices online to make sure you get what you want for the best price.

Call of Duty: World at War is a very popular PS3 game at the moment but it does have the problem of being very similar to the previous Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. There are many Playstation 3 games out at the moment that you can choose from. If you are interested in video games and consoles then the best thing to do is to compare different ones on the internet in order to get a better idea of what you're after.
