The Dangers Of Colon Cleansing?

Whenever the subject of colon cleansing comes up, some people are quick to condemn the various methods and trivialize the results before they have all the facts. The truth is, that although colon cleansing is a relatively new idea, and one that has not yet been "scientifically" proven, the number of people who have reported positive results from cleansing cannot be ignored.

Critics often state that colon cleansing is completely ineffective. While it is true that the benefits of cleansing have never been proven in a double-blind study, many people have reported positive results after just one cleanse. Those who cleanse regularly often report even more outstanding successes. There is simply no easy way to dismiss the stories of people who have cleansed and experienced dramatic and sudden improvements in their health.

Others claim that colon cleansing is unnecessarily expensive, but a treatment like Almighty Cleanse is actually very inexpensive, costing a little more than fifty cents per day.

It is true, however, that some cleansing regimes may present a certain degree of danger. This is because they are occasionally conducted in less than sterile conditions, which can lead to complications from bacterial infections. Therapies like colon hydrotherapy, for example, which relies on pumping copious amounts of water and/or chemicals into the large intestine and then pumping out the fecal matter and water through another tube, lend themselves to the threat of contamination. In addition, this method may also be responsible for altering the chemical balance in the colon, which can lead to electrolyte deficiencies.

Fortunately, there are other methods of colon cleansing which are non-invasive and provide the same results. These methods generally rely on natural ingredients that provide gentle and effective purification. Performed regularly in the comfort of your own home, this method of colon cleansing is an excellent way to get the benefits of cleansing, without the risks of hydrotherapy.
