A trip to the city of Dallas is not complete without a visit to Fair Park. It is one of Dallas' most exciting attractions and is a place that anyone would love to visit. Fair Park is an area covering over 270 acres located near downtown Dallas. It welcomes millions of visitors every year to a number of different events. Fair Park includes a number of different attractions including a botanical garden, an aquarium, museums, an amphitheatre, an arena and much much more. The most famous attraction held at Fair Park is the State Fair of Texas which is held there every Fall. If you are lucky enough to be in town during this time of year it is a must see as the state of Texas' state fair is something incredible to behold. Everything truly is bigger in Texas. If you will not be there in the Fall , do not worry, there is still much for you to do. Start your day off with a trip to The Science Place or the Dallas Museum of Natural History or the African American Museum. Next catch some lunch and visit the Cotton Bowl Stadium or the Texas Vietnam Memorial or Smith Fountain. The choices are endless in Fair Park and you can easily spend the whole day there.
