The exceptionally talented Country artist Alan Jackson has released him CD entitled Precious Memories. I am very confident and happy to announce that I believe Alan Jackson fans, and Country fans alike will be pleased with this one. With the release of Precious Memories Alan Jackson's artistic excellence is on full display as Jackson has once again delivered a brilliant collection of tracks that could very well be him best work to date.
The CD opens with a great track, Blessed Assurance, that I anticipate will be heard on radio stations everywhere, and deservedly so. It really is a very nice track.
This one will grab your attention right from the very first note with Blessed Assurance and won't let go until the very last note of the very last song I Want To Stroll Over Heaven With You, which is another great track by the way.
Precious Memories has a nicely varied, mix of 15 tracks that are very well written songs by this clearly superb artist. Most of the songs display a lot of the kind emotion that makes for a really great listen. Clearly drawing from what I can only imagine are him own personal experiences. At different points touching on the most real emotions like love, and the pain of failed relationships can certainly be heard.
If you're even mildly into Country music you'll enjoy this album. Overall Precious Memories is an outstanding release. I give it my double thumbs up. You will not be disappointed with one single track.
While this entire album is outstanding some of my favorites are track 2 - Softly And Tenderly, track 7 - Are You Washed In The Blood?, and track 15 - I Want To Stroll Over Heaven With You
My SmoothLee Bonus Pick, and the one that got Sore [...as in "Stuck On REpeat"] is track 12 - Leaning On The Everlasting Arms. Wow!
