Almost all new network marketers want a supportive sponsor, who doesn't? But will your sponsor make a difference in your success?

You go online and do your research about which business you will like to start with. Finally, you found a perfect network marketing company that fits what you wanted. An ideal product, supportive sponsor and a wonderful compensation plan. Every thing looks good and you jump in.

But what if your sponsor did not turn out to be as supportive as you think he will be? Are you going to quit and find a better sponsor or are you going to work your way up?

And what if your sponsor turns out to be very supportive? Will he make a difference? If he does, you are just lucky.

Have your ever thought about it?

Do you know your sponsor may kill you? You must be wondering what I mean by that. Here, picture a scenario when you have a very supportive sponsor who virtually spoon feeds you with everything. He evens recruits for you. How nice? That's probably many network marketers' dream.

Many times, you become over dependent on your sponsor and lazy. When he stops helping you, you become paralyze and you do not know how to move on. You will fail eventually.

A good sponsor will provide you the necessary information and knowledge for you to kick start your business. He will guide you and teach you what he knows so that you can duplicate his success. There is a saying that goes, fish for a man and feed him one day. Teach a man to fish and feed him for life. You get the meaning?

Network marketing does sound simple but it require effort and determination. Your sponsor has his part to play but you are the one that will make a difference and only you can determine your success. You are the author of your story, nobody can write a nice story except yourself.

Don't depend so much on your sponsor, he is only there to help and guide you. Everyone wants to succeed in network marketing and you can succeed if you put your heart and soul into it, it has got nothing to do with you sponsor.

Like I said your sponsor has got nothing to do with your success as a network marketer, you are the one that defines your success. If you happen to find a supportive sponsor, you should be lucky you did. Learn from him and I believe it will shorten your learning curve.
