Togo is situated in the western part of Africa. It borders with Burkina Faso, Guinea, Ghana and Benin. Togo is a small country, but it gave a big advantage for visitors. Its coastal part is flat and covered with the sand, has nice beaches and beautiful resorts. This is the best place to spend the honeymoon or the romantic vacation. The north part of coastal area has another peculiarity - the red soil. This area is also famous by its amazing waterfalls and exciting views. Here begins the range of mountains, which run across the whole country.
The climate of Togo is various in different regions of the country. In the south it is always hot, stuffy and humid. It is quite easy to get the sunstroke here, so it is necessary to wear a lot of sun block before traveling. On the north the temperature is lower and is about 60 degrees F, especially during the rainy season from April to mid-July. So it is advisable to have a warm clothing during this months. The best period of year to visit the Togo is the beginning of October.
