Lenovo just launched a new Notebook with 3d Technology, IdeaPad Y560d. Lenovo IdeaPad Y560d will be the first lenovo's laptop which used 3D technology. To provide the 3D experience, Y560D provides their TriDef technology that consists of the display, the glasses, and the software. The latter is of particular interest as Lenovo says the "TriDef Media Player" and "TriDef Photo Transformer" software will be able to convert and display conventional 2D video or photos as full viewable 3D versions.

the Lenovo Y560d powered with the latest Intel Core i7-720QM Processor (1.60GHz 1333MHz 6MB) and equipped with 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 memory and ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5730 1GB GPU for all of your 3D processing needs. This will allow you to watch the most extraordinary movies and play the highest-end MMORPGs around. you'll have to utilize 3D glasses to get the full effect from the computer's 15.6-inch LED backlit display that features a resolution of 1366×768.

that 3D glasses and software installation are required for the full experience, but both are included in the box. Once you'll be able to watch 3D movies in all of their glory but unfortunately Lenovo currently offers no Blu-ray drive option so your 3D content selection may be limited unless you're willing to hook up an external optical drive, which Lenovo also does not offer.

The 3D device will also be available with a Blu-ray drive and Lenovo's hybrid storage system, the RapidDrive, which pairs a quick-booting 64GB SSD with a typical 750GB disk drive. The Lenovo 3D notebooks appears to be quite the portable entertainment center, with Dolby Home Theater surround sound coming out of JBL speakers while watching 3D playback on that high-definition display. The chassis is a respectable 20mm thick and weighs in at 2.7kg with the standard 6-cell battery providing up to five hours on integrated graphics and up to four hours with the discrete card. Watch a short video, play games, and edit photos from that fourth of july picnic and fireworks show and still have enough time to browse the web.
