This is a new series (1-13) of Verse No. in the Bible versus the Quran.

Verse No. 13 in the Old Testament says that And there was evening, and there was morning, the third day.

Verse No. 13 in the New Testament says that Zerubbabel the father of Abiud (Abihud), Abiud the father of Eliakim, Eliakim the father of Azor,

Verse No. 13 in the Noble Quran says: as to those who disbelieve, it is the same to them whether thou warn them or do not warn them; they will not believe.

------------------------

The verse No. 13 in the Old Testament is Genesis 1:13

The verse continues talking about the creation of the heavens and the earth, it says: And there was evening, and there was morning, the third day.

The verse talks about the third day of the creation of the heavens and the earth, in that day:

God said, "Let the land produce vegetation: seed-bearing plants and trees on the land that bear fruit with seed in it, according to their various kinds." And it was so.

The land produced vegetation: plants bearing seed according to their kinds and trees bearing fruit with seed in it according to their kinds. And God saw that it was good.

It follows that many plants bearing seed according to their kinds and trees bearing fruit with seed in it according to their kinds grew up in one day, that is the third day of the creation.

The verse No. 13 in the New Testament is Matthew 1:13

The verse continues talking about the Genealogy of Jesus Christ, and Matthew lists Jesus' ancestors, the verse says: Zerubbabel the father of Abiud (Abihud), Abiud the father of Eliakim, Eliakim the father of Azor,

Here again, we have the problem of writing the names in the different four versions of the Bible studied.

Fundamentally, the names of the people have no translation, they have to be written as they are pronounced.

The case is true when it comes to a name of a person, whose name is Eliakim or Azor

; both are written as they are pronounced in the four versions studied without any change(s).

But, how come that a person's name in one version of the Bible is Abiud; and in another version of the Bible he is Abihud?

------------------------

Verse No. 13 in the Noble Quran is Chapter 2:1, Surah AL-BAQARA (THE COW), 2:6

The verse says: as to those who reject faith, it is the same to them whether thou warn them or do not warn them; they will not believe.

As for the disbelievers; who remain firm in their disbelief, alike it is for them whether you (O Muhammad) have warned them (by means of the Quran) or have not warned them, they do not want to believe, as Allah knows very well, It is also said that they will not believe as it is in Allah's knowledge; so do not hope that they will believe and do not be sad about them;

The English "Have warned" is "Anzara" in Arabic

Anzara means to give knowledge of something and simultaneously;

It means to inspire an element of fear of something that is coming up.

This indicates that the Quran which is used to warn the people gives knowledge of something and simultaneously inspire an element of fear of something that is coming up (the Day of Judgment and Eternal Fire that is waiting for the disbelievers in the afterlife).

It is very premature to ask this question:

Is the Quran quoted from the Bible?

Wait and you will see.
