Design-wise, the Nokia 6230i resembles its earlier model with a few minor changes in its outlook. The improved version though is a couple of millimeter larger than the older model but retains the same mono-block design with almost the same colour scheme. Average-sized tactile keys with soft motion is one of the things that have remained unchanged. Wrong presses can be kept to minimum. A Nokia user would instantly be at home with the user interface.
The Nokia 6230i supports tri-band GSM networks and switches bands automatically so that you don't have to worry about your mobile phone connectivity as you hop from one continent to another. With the Nokia 6230i's Push to talk feature, you can be in constant touch with one or many at a time over cellular network, just like a walkie talkie. Nokia 6230i's importance as a business tool can be made out from its feature list that includes 'Translator' 'Converter II' Notepad and voice memo recorder.
The Nokia 6230i features a 1.3 megapixal camera with digital zoom for you to shoot great pictures. You can shoot high quality footage continuously for 1 hour and store it in its 32 Mb internal memory pool. The handset also supports external memory cards.
