Introduction To The Success Journey
"Each journey starts with the first step and ends the same"

The yellow brick road may be paved with gold in the Marvelous land of Oz but in the real world it's blacktop laced with potholes and unknown intersections. There's danger in every mile as you compete with trucks and insidious drivers. While traveling along the way, one wrong turn could send you driving off in the wrong direction or towards disaster. If you are vigilant, you may avoid the possible pitfalls of the journey but will not avoid the experience in its entirety.

There are many unmarked detours that may take you on paths of uncertainty and failure. These obstructions may require that you search your reasoning and redefine your originally mission. While at times it may seem difficult it is not entirely imposable. You may even focus so intensely on recovery that you loose your ability to rationalize in the effort. Then there is always a chance that you may never recover, and end up wondering around lost for the rest of your life. If the mistake is great enough, you may drive head-on into the hands of despair itself.

The road is lined with take out stands, and false promises, each biding for your attention. Each has a stake in your life; each represents an experience. Many will try to seduce you and lead you off in the wrong direction for their own names sake. These are the users; they need you to fulfill their dreams. There are also travelers - as you, along the same road of life; seeking fulfillment and traversing the many pitfalls that are laid out before them. Some handle the journey with excitement and anticipation of greatness while others are quick to give up in defeat and hopelessness. The side of the road is littered with carcasses of the many dead dreams and hopes that never gave birth.

Writers, Philosophers, Psychologists, Economist, Governments, Religious leaders, and Scientist have spent years of countless hours and given many explanations as to the reasons for the varied avenues and directions that men and women take in life. They have tried, time and time again to analyze the factors that motivate or demotivate each individual into their particular course. What is it that stimulates one person to successful action, while another person stagnates? Where does the passion for one turn into apprehension and fear for another? Many of these same writers, distinguished more for their vocabularies than their depth of thought, say that it is fear of failure, pride of possession, love of home and family, and so on. In other words, it is the inner self as in self-reliance that creates separation from belief creating self-entrapment. This break down in the belief system causes people to act in a passive manner. Focusing on irrelevance, clouds the mind; robbing it of its' possibilities. It's like driving with blinders on; one develops tunnel vision and as your vision becomes narrow and more pointed, you miss the opportunity placed right in front of you. Soon the focus is on can't instead of can and the mind becomes lost in its own confusion. Apprehension sets in and success becomes lost in its own definition.

While emotions certainly has its' place and does indeed influence people, they represent only the surface of human traits. The mainspring of human behavior is found within as people dig deeper into the truth to discover how self dominates the thinking process and is at the root of each of their individual problems. Self-talk, we do it all day long. We silently ponder over each problem, circumstance, and question, driving into our mind a passable solution. Each problem is absorbed as truths, becoming stepping-stones as they are layered one on the other to forge the turbulent river of expatiation. Each stepping stone is no more than a wisp of smoke; a shadow of truth in the assurance of what it can deliver. After all, what are humans in a material world but creatures of misgivings and long suffering? Right? NO! This is a illusion a deception and doesn't have to be. It's a mindset played on by our society and its' acceptance of failure as a normal position. Failure is not normal, it the illustration of the absence of belief and hope.

Belief and hope clears the mind and elevates the senses in victory as an accomplishment. This is the real victor who wins in life and elevates the soul. And what is victory anyway, but to reestablish a sense of well being in the hope for tomorrow? This reunion accomplishes that which is important enough too pursue. The heart of living - the reasoning - the importance of life itself.

The Journey to Success and Wealth

In this affluent society of ours, there are more possibilities today than ever before. The sweet savor of success and hope is a prelude for People inherited from birth. Success accomplishment and achievement are synonymous with hope and belief. It is only through succeeding; accomplishing and achieving that people are able to realize the promise of bountiful happiness and admiration . In many individuals, however, this instinct has been diverted or pushed aside. Eyes that turn toward questioning self and its abilities become clouded by the possibility of failure. Focusing on failure births despair and stifles the drive for success. Soon wants and must haves turn into debt and bitterness, robbing you of your self worth.

In Genesis God created man in His own image and likeness saying, "It is good" in this context, God was pleased with his new creation. Why? Because man was made in God's image and after his likeness. Humans are created to achieve and excel, after all, they have God's essence within. Unfortunately, many cave into emotions, which can motivate a person to act in a harsh or incorrect manner. Why; confusion, foggy thinking, influence from outside sources, etc. Love, hate, fear, is fundamental and can be used as a motivational drive toward success or can be used to suppress the instinct to thrive. God's natural instincts remain just below the surface, patiently waiting for the freedom, which allows them to come to the forefront of a person's life. When material roadblocks are lifted, a person can freely pursue his/her sacred dreams and they are free to become super achievers. It's all about keeping your perspective and preparing a indestructible plan for succeeding. It's about intent and the individual's reason for doing. Every person is afforded all the elements necessary for accomplishment, but no one will do it for you. You must honor God in your pursuit of excellence. You must demonstrate your willingness to achieve for his glory. He wants you to be successful and prosper. Think about it, if He made you in his image and after his likeness then you must honor him by example.

Each time a perception of mind becomes questioned or obscured it will be replaced with something usually easer to understand. It is this control mechanism that acts to either suppress or energize the inner spirit. To motivate an individual to unsurpassed heights the inner spirit must bring the mind into a realization of pending accomplishment. Most people face the world from a unique prospective, they see it from the inside looking out. They view the world as their sustainer. Enlightened People on the other hand, perceive the world from the outside looking in. They view themselves and the world as having a working partnership. It is what is accepted into the mind as truths that ultimately influences the prospective of the individual. In our hard hitting, fast paced world of today, it's no wonder so many people are so lured in by the merchants. Persuasion, deceives righteous people into believing they should not peruse personal success, and to do so would be sinful. Yet, even when armed with God's breath of life the righteous are often the first to falter and fail. People who have embraced worldly order even in diversity appear to thrive on best selling books, magazines, and the TV media filling them with promising stories of rags-to-riches success. Opportunities abound more today than ever. So why isn't good, hard working people taking advantage of their inborn granted privilege?

Material men and women who have made it share a common denominator. They have discovered the secrets of self-reliance as a motivating factor to motivate them into applying certain concepts for personal development that leads toward wealth but not necessarily happiness. It's not to say they can't be happy, it's just that they usually are so engulfed in the wealth idea, they loose prospective on things of more importance. Relationships, family, health, nature the many things that make up a well rounded life experience are lost. The total life experience becomes dominated by money and fails in its purpose. They connect with forces only they are able to feel and experience but these forces are false images of the reason for life. As they become more and more financially independent they also discover they need more and more, resulting in a never-ending saga. They never reach their goal, they can't take their eyes of the glimmer of wealth and achieving higher dimensions. Even though they may claim success it is success that has claimed them.

Wealth has many definitions in the material world. While one person may aspire to be meaningful and significant, while another may desire monetary wealth and yet another simply aspires to be the best piano player he/she can be. There are professional race car drivers, fishermen, tractor operators, salespersons, pilots, artist, musicians plus thousands of other things that occupy people. Most people want to be the best they can be in what ever they doing. Having a lot of money may not be the primary goal of an artist. You could say, "The realization of achieving personal goals" defines being rich or successful. That's pretty simple, yet most people don't get anywhere near achieving their personal goals. Why can't they have self-satisfaction through a feeling of accomplishment? The person who sees wealth as happiness is engaged in self gratification. Self can never be fully satisfied because satisfaction is a thirst that can't be filled. Wealth cannot quince the thirst for possession. The more one possesses the more he/she wants to posses. You must make the challenge the prize not the result of the challenge When you focus on the result, you loose focuses on the challenge. The result is simply a measurement of how well you are progressing in the challenge.

Fields of Abundance
Consider the bird in the field. It never wants for anything It seem the old saying "the rich get richer and the poor get poorer" has gained more widespread acceptance today then ever before. In this new electronic millennium, statistics show that personal failures are running rampart and cooperate greed is at an all time high. Marriages, businesses, huge international cooperation's, even community governments are failing more than ever before. Rain falls the same on the heads of the rich as well as the poor. Abundance and destitution are equal in nature, it's simply a matter of choice. Clearly, inter-personal relationships have become strained to the breaking point by the many external forces that are exerted on them. Many fail but those that survive are stronger for it. Survival breeds the instinct to endure. In the jungle, it's the survival of the fittest but for people it's the unbelieving who falls beside the road and are consumed.

While the mismanagement of resources and money have spawned an atmosphere of expected disappointments and failures it doesn't have to be. Men and women are only subject to their environment as much or little as they accepted it as the truth. God didn't make the negative conditions; man did. It's easy to fall pray to other's negative thinking. No one deliberately wants to fail. But, most people will be dependent on some outside source such as social security relatives or friends, charity, or part-time work during their twilight years. As the life expectancy grows longer, additional people spend more years in quite desperation. Their plight is one of growing concern for a nation known for its' abundance.

Now you can be stimulated into a new way of viewing yourself. You have a new role in life that includes success principles as well as personal responsibilities. There is a new dawning where you are in control of your own destiny. You no longer have to be dependent on anyone or thing because you are at peace with the world - right here, right now. You now have the capability of becoming a person who everyone admires for your ability to command everyone's attention each time you enter a room. You will hold your head up a little higher, walk a little brisker, and set the tone for the conversation. Your confidence will be that of a highly trained performer facing an audience. People will gravitate to you in the hopes that some measure of what you have will rub off on them. The measure of a man radiates an assurance that tomorrow will be his. He has a partner and that partner will never forsake him.

Remember, even with all the bad possibilities, there are more millionaires being made today than ever before. You are the master of money it will never master you. You will join the ranks of the affluent retirees living in comfort and traveling the world. This is the day of a promising new future where everyone is equal on the same playing field. Define the game, play by the rules and you will bring home the trophy.

The point is simply this, it's a matter of choice; you don't have to be a failure because failure and success is only opposite sides of the same equation. It depends on which side of the coin you chose; both are equally obtainable. One takes very little effort, and has lasting negative affects with a shorter lifetime in despair. The other does take more work at the beginning, but leads to wealth and happiness for a longer lifetime of untold benefits.

In less than every 20 minutes of each workday a new millionaire is made. There is no limit to wealth; it's freely distributed between those who are willing to pay the price for it. Abundance is yours to reap as you wish. You are made in His image, and as so, you are may freely share in His unlimited possibilities and potential.

Success is now in your hands; handle it seriously because through this experience you will truly be transforming into a new person.

Next time we will get down to specifics. How will you make a life plan?. How can you enhance personal and professional relationships? What can you expect and when should you make changes? These and many other questions will be addressed but for now please, look into yourself and find the true person you are. Write down the good and bad for reference, because soon you will be pursuing a whole new you.
