Stop Looking & Start Living
I know it is a unique concept
About which you strangely might
Have some doubts and misgiving.
Don't be apprehensive or uneasy
Regaining your life is what this
Is truly and beautifully all about
Once you do, you shall shout
Victoriously and triumphantly
Happily transformed to fully be
Your authentic self in originality
No need for another to validate
Approve, affirm, or acknowledge
Being inwardly secure is great
Being unable to be manipulated
Is even more wonderful and better
It's liberating to have a foundation
Established deep down within
A fortitude and force to win
Over every foul temptation
To succumb to outside intimidation
Peer pressure and motivation
Anchoring within is an emancipation
From fearing others futile opinion
Once overcome there is dominion
A remarkable, illuminating strength
To live without chains or restraint
To freely be thyself in a chaotic world
Full of conformists and afraid followers
Awake to this sobering necessary reality
That you don't need a man to continually
To validate and uplift you as a woman
In and of yourself you can simply be
Possess your soul in peaceful tranquility
Enjoy your friends and life wholeheartedly
Pursue your professional career diligently
Celebrate holidays with beloved family
Go on vacations abroad and in your country
Grow into adulthood and answer to nobody
Embrace and submit to trusted authority
But never yield to abusive duplicity
That would undermine your identity
Thwart your progress toward destiny
Such hostilities you need not endure
Be confident, righteous, and pure
Stable, settled, serene, and sure
That your life within alone will allure
Worthy people to relate with you
There is nothing more you must do
Just stop looking and start living
Go beyond thinking into feeling
From calculating to freely flowing
Trust your instincts and inner knowing
Priceless impressions within showing
Adding value and amazingly growing
Your wealth within and relations without
Look to and live from the inside out
Living in the overflow is what life is about.
