Acai Berry has been one of the hottest diet in Hollywood as well as amongst general public. But now there are numerous reports about it being a scam. But how can it be a scam when numerous doctors claimed on national TV no less, that acai berry is "worlds number one super food?" After doing some research here is what I found.

The Truth About Acai Berry:

Acai berry is indeed an amazing natural food. The doctors claiming it to be "worlds perfect food" are correct. It is a very powerful antioxidant, and also contains vital minerals and vitamins as well as healthy fats. And because it's a natural food, used in moderation it has no side effects. Because of its amazing properties acai has been used in many different weight loss products, and since they actually work it's no wonder that acai berry capsules and other products have risen to become one of Hollywood's top diets. The truth is that it works, and works amazingly well.

What About Acai Scams?

But what about acai scams you must be asking yourself. If the capsules work so well, how come there were numerous reports on TV about it being a scam just recently. Like with everything else that is good, there will be those that are trying to capitalize on that good and make a quick buck. The surge in popularity of acai berry diets has resulted in many companies coming up with their own acai based products. Unfortunately some of those companies are very unethical and outright scammers just looking to rip off their customers.

Most of the companies producing acai berry capsules have a free trial - you can try their product before you buy it, just pay for shipping and handling. Of course, if you don't cancel your offer you will be sent a new bottle of the product and billed accordingly, but this is nothing new, in fact this is exactly how all the "free trial" offers work. However, the scamming companies won't allow you to cancel - they won't pick up the phone when you call, or respond to your emails. You can of course dispute the charges with your credit card company, but that's such a pain.

Conclusions:

Acai Berry is an amazing natural food, and an awesome weight loss product that works. Unfortunately some unethical companies are trying to capitalize on it and those companies is what prompts all those "acai scams" claims and reports.
