Getting the maximum distance to your drive is something that everyone once to do because it gives you just another advantage in competition. Being able to hit a ball farther then your competitors is just another tool in your arsenal that can make you drop strokes.

My suggestion would be to launch the ball higher with as little spin as possible, these would be the first few tips I would give to maximize your ball carry. Without the backspin offers a little more distance on the landing as well.

There are just a few conditions when you launch a ball to know about. So the first would be the angle of which the ball takes flight the second is the ball speed in flight and club speed, and the third would be the amount of backspin that you put on the ball. Most of the pros now days use an angle of about 11 degrees when launching there ball into its flight, however the pro distance drivers you see every once and a while on T.V use about a 13 degree angle and they can do this and get away with it because of the club head speed and little backspin. This is a lot easier said then done.

I always tell everyone that if you want to improve distance initially it all starts with your biomechanics of you golf swing and having the right fundamentals, if you don't have these then you are doomed from the beginning. So start off asking yourself the level of golfer you are first because if you are a beginner you should not be worrying about how far you can hit it in the first place….yet. Now if you are a seasoned golfer then this article may help you a little although maybe you already knew this if you have been golfing for a while. So these are the most important aspects for hitting a ball farther.
