Are you a desirable candidate for attracting online predators? Are any of us? Are we aware of who's lurking beneath our Informational Highway? Do any of us really care? Or is it that we just have no time to concern ourselves.

Do you think because you're an adult, male or female you're not vulnerable? THINK AGAIN!

Whether or not we accept it the internet is expanding at an amazing rate. And we're all fully aware with the enormous impact the internet has had on life as we know it. Present and future generations have and will benefit from this informational highway, this exciting off world of enjoyment, business, and education. HOWEVER, THERE IS SOMETHING VERY DISTURBING ABOUT OUR EVOLUTIONAL PROGRESS

WE ARE BEING WATCHED And unbelievable as this may sound, most never even consider who actually owns and operates many of the dating sites, chat forums, chat rooms etc. We think nothing of it when we upload our pictures in hopes of finding that special someone. And we have no idea of who may be viewing these pictures along with information in our profiles.

Has it ever occurred to you when you plan to meet someone on a dating site why in most cases it just doesn't happen? Have you ever heard of bogus profiles, fake pictures etc? Or, has your profile on any of these sites ever been deleted for no particular reason?

Are any of us aware of why some of these dating sites are in place or what they are truly used for?

Are we aware because of this modern technology that our IP addresses can be used by others? Or that someone could be inside our computers without us knowing? Have you ever played online pool, crib or cards? Have you ever spent months talking online with someone without meeting them, a friend maybe? Did it ever occur to you that this person may have spent all this time probing for private information?

We've become so absorbed with this modern way to conduct business, this instant worldwide socializing that it's possible we've become oblivious to what's really going on out there.

Technology and wealth is a very powerful combination when it's utilized by very powerful people. For them the internet has become a freefall of opportunity to enhance the way they conduct their business whether it's legal or not. Information on any individual regardless of where they live, what they do for a living can be obtained with ease.

Married people believe it or not can be vulnerable along with young single women who happen to be poor or disconnected from family.

Pr-teens and teenagers can build an enormous list of friends online. And although they may never meet many of them it doesn't mean their trustworthy. And it doesn't allow for the lack of caution.

On a different note, you may believe your banking information is completely secured by your online banking institutions however, are your passwords? Are your passwords to anything completely secured? If someone wants them bad enough, no they are not. And files you keep in your documents folders can be accessed.

Now here's a scary thought, when talking on messenger can you be monitored? Yes, you can be monitored doing just about anything online. The more exposure we allow ourselves the higher the risk. We are all sitting idle and looking pretty.
