In a recent survey it was discovered that under 50% of UK workers are satisfied with their jobs. A combination of tedious work loads, tight schedules and stressful situations ensures many of us are living for the weekend rather than that Monday morning feeling. Not everyone is dissatisfied with their job however, in fact landing yourself that dream role could be easier than you think!

With the majority of people who are unhappy at work claiming their find their 9-5 'boring', the question begs, 'what are the most exciting jobs in the world?' To begin with, any job that allows you to see the world, experience different cultures and have a varied and unpredictable workload from one day to the next is arguably an exciting post to have. Despite the risks involved, those working in the armed forces certainly can't complain of having a boring job. Posted to different areas of the globe, working in challenging and rewarding situations as well as keeping fit and active are key features of life in the navy, army or RAF.

If a job on the front line isn't appealing then there's always something more glamorous such as working in the entertainment industry. This doesn't mean chucking in the towel and catching the next flight to Hollywood however, but working out how your skill set might apply to this industry. Events management at a venue for up and coming bands allows you to be in the thick of the action while testing games for a software development agency might be the ideal role for fans of consoles. You could even bag yourself the enviable role of 'celebrity house sitter' if you boast a super responsible attitude and professional demeanour.

Finally, if you fancy being at the forefront of a fast paced and exciting industry perhaps now is the time to quit the office job and find a position in one of the UK's fastest growing sectors. Be it health, teaching or IT, there really is something out there for everyone. Web and e-commerce are particularly strong fields and require everything from designers, buyers, account managers or search engine optimisation experts to keep their sites running and in tiptop condition.

Fed up with your day job? Join the minority who enjoy their work by getting one of the world's most exciting jobs today!
