WHAT DO YOU GIVE A WOMAN WHO HAS EVERYTHING?

Author: Lowry W. Mell

Gift giving to a woman who has everything has been an age-old problem for generations. The level of wealth or the age of the woman can present a host of challenges and concerns.

Elderly mothers and grandmothers seem to be our biggest challenges. They have lived full lives, acquiring all they need or want over a long period of time. The house and furniture are paid for, the clothes closet is full and the jewelry box is filled. When the question "What do we give Mom for her birthday" (or any other special occasion) is asked, our dilemma begins.

Have you noticed that elderly mother and grandmothers have that classic response, "Nothing dear, I have everything I need. Save your money." Now, that can put a damper on your gift giving spirit. So what do you do? The answer is not as difficult as you may think. Give her crystal. Here's why.

Every woman instinctively knows the value and quality of crystal and loves having it.

However, the crystal gift must be special. All parents share their growing up experiences, accomplishments, hobbies and fond memories with their children and close friends. Capture one of those events with a crystal figurine.

Select a crystal figurine that celebrates the memory in a significant way. It could be a figurine of a dog that was very special to her or a musical instrument figurine if she was a musician. It could be a carousel if that is where she first met her husband and fell in love.

Perhaps she has a fondness for the circus or the ocean. The possibilities are endless and the good news is you can probably find a crystal figurine gift for any memory you want to capture. Crystal figurines come in many categories, styles, designs, colors and price range. There is a crystal figurine for the woman who has everything.

What greater gift could you give her than one that brings back her fondest and most treasured memories? A crystal figurine gift gives new significance to the old saying, "it's the thought that counts."
