If a point number comes up the shooter will continue to roll and will need to get the Point number they received in the first roll before they roll a 7. Once the point roll has been handled through winning or losing the rolls start over again with the come out roll.

When betting you have a number of options to choose from. Craps is not the type of game where you just put your money on the table. Instead, you can choose from a number of wagers some of which have very low house advantages.

Pass Line Bet (Front Line Bet) - This wager can be placed during the come out roll. If a point roll comes out the bet is not finalized until the roll has been completed. You are a winner if the shooter rolls a 7 or 11. You will lose if a 2, 3, or 12 come out.'

Don't Pass Bets (Black Line) - This wager is available for the come out roll. You win if the shooter rolls a 2 or a 3 and lose if they roll a 7 or 11. A tie occurs if a 12 is rolled. Otherwise, it's a point roll and you will have to wait to see how you fare based on the shooters luck.

Come Bets - These wagers will come into play once a point has been rolled. Here you are wagering a bet similar to the Pass Line Bets we've already talked about. You will win if the shooter rolls a 7 or 11, lose if a 2, 3, or 12 comes out, and be placed on hold if a come point is rolled. If a Come point is rolled that number needs to come out again before a 7 does otherwise you will lose.

Don't Come Bets - This bet is similar to the Come Bet because the Point needs to be in place before you can make this wager. The rules however are very similar to the Don't Pass Bets. It is the exact opposite of the Come Bet. If a 7 comes out before the Come Point then you win. It's as simple as that.

Placing a Bet to Win - A point needs to be rolled before you can place this bet. Once that has happened you simply choose a point number to bet on (4, 5, 6, 8, 9, or 10). If this number comes out before 7 then you win.

Place Bet to Lose - This is another point bet. In this scenario, you are betting against the shooter. This bet means that you think that 7 will come out before the point number.

These are the most common bets in Craps. While there are others the house advantage seems to be much higher on them so they are usually avoided unless the gambler is highly advanced in their techniques.

Remember to play responsibly! There is no betting limit to Craps in most casinos so it is easy to go overboard if you have the means to do so. Make sure you have a good grasp of the game otherwise you won't know what you are winning or losing or how to keep it up when you do win!
