Based in Cleveland, Ohio - the Indians are a professional major league baseball team established back in 1901.  The team was named the Indians because of the request made by the club owner after the 1914 season, the team is also known by two other nicknames such as the Tribe and the Wahoos.  The term Wahoo is a direct reference to the team logo which features a Native American that has gotten the team some but you are amongst Native Americans for helping perpetuate this stereotype.

Their current ballpark is the Progressive Field; the team owner is Larry Dolan, the manager is Eric Wedge and the General Manager is Mark Shapiro.

The Cleveland Indians are all about accomplishments, as a matter of fact, they have a great number of major league baseball titles to show for it.  The Indians have earned five American League pennants in five different years (1920, 1948, 1954, 1995 and finally 1997); they have also won seven central division titles in almost seven consecutive years which is nothing less than extremely impressive, they span throughout 1995 and 2007 and last but not least they have had to successful world series participations in the years of 1920 in 1948 and by the look of things they're not too far away from once again tasting sweet victory.
