Jail of Ignorance

How long must we remain captive- to or self? How long will we continue to listen to our egoic state of consciousness that always compares itself in the insatiable, losing game of trying to beat out neighbors- at everything?  It's hard to believe (or more would be doing it), but we can "imagine ourselves" into a far more different world of GOOD NEWS if we'll but listen to the TRUE SELF.

We must listen to that inner voice- the real self, the Spirit. Don't you know that the Kingdom of God, the world of true consciousness, is within and not without? Yes, there's a competing inner dialogue going on; however, the real one does not separate itself from others. The moment you begin to compare, you've left the real playing field and entered fantasy sports.

The apostle Paul reminded us that we needed to awake from the self-imposed sleep, hypnosis if you will, that we've fallen into. He even took it a step deeper by calling us to arise from the death of such being (Ephesians 5:14) and move into the light of Christ consciousness.

I think we've missed part of the meaning of Matthew 10:36 (A man's foes are those of his own household)  assigning it to relatives and not to our own inner state of being. My greatest enemy is me, the false selt, the egoic chatter that I must battle each day that says I can't, they won't, or it will never be.

And then there's the interpretation of the physical appearances that stand before us that affirm our plight.

But, when we align our spirits and our thoughts with those that the Creator has of and for us, it forces us to abandon negative thinking and walk in HOPE- which will eventually become the SUBSTANCE, or the physical out-working of those thoughts. We are positionally free, but until we experience such freedom, it's of little consolation.

Don't let the jail of ignorance also become the jail of apathy!
