Samsung E250 - Very Basic... Very Impressive
The Samsung E250 is a basic phone that has been designed to attract the youth. Which means students and youths who do not want to spend a lot on flamboyant devices and still wish to get a decent looking mobile device, the Samsung E250 ideal to be explored. The handset comes in a typical Samsung flip phone style - without any external display. But this does not make the phone look boring or outdated, as the design and contours of the phone are stylish. Plus, to give the youths a greater choice, the Samsung E250 comes in many colours. One may choose to feel royal with Metallic gold, funky with Apple green, feminine with Sweet Pink, intense with deep blue or sophisticated with cool silver.
Samsung E250 caters to all the basic needs of a young users. Thus, when it comes to messaging and talk experience, the device does full justice. The Samsung E250 includes SMS, EMS and MMS facility, and also offers T9 mode for fast typing. The phone book is decent with a capacity to hold 500 names, while it can display up to 10 dialled, 10 received, and 10 missed calls. For data transfer, the Samsung E250 provides the advantage of GPRS, and usability features like voice memo, currency converter, calculator, organiser add more to the convenience. The device runs on dual GSM network and thus it offers seamless connectivity.
There is no camera in the device, but that does not mean that Samsung E250 has no provision for fun. Though the device does not feature a camera, the entertainment is taken care by the FM radio and games.
Fun also gets extended with 64 channels of Polyphonic ringtones,(which can also be customized), and plethora of wallpapers. The Samsung E250 is a light weighted, small device. It measures 86 x 42 x 19 mm and weighs 73 grams. The internal display has 128 x 128 pixels, with 65K colours. Overall a good decent phone in entry-level market. And because it is economical as well, it sure appeals the target customers.
