Celebrate July 4 With Inspirational Picnic Ideas

It was on July 4, 1776 that we had claimed our independence. The British left our land free and Democracy took its birth on this day, letting every American dream of a new life, filled with freedom. Since then, we have been celebrating the day with all our dear and near ones with barbecues, parties and picnics. How about forgetting all the old fashioned way of celebrating our Independence Day with fireworks, evening party and backyard picnic and come up with some new ideas?

Doubtlessly, there are lots of wonderful ideas swirling in your mind to celebrate 4th of July this year. But if you want some more, then here are some that may amazingly suite what you and your friends are looking for. What about nautical picnic?

Picnic In Beach
Picnic is always wonderful - no doubt about it. But it can be made even better amidst the expansive beach with the turquoise ocean sounding in the background, cool breeze wafting off your boredom and pleasant sun warming your face. Isn't this enough to make July 4, 2007 ever memorable?

The best attraction for a nautical picnic is hours of enjoyment with the sea with your friends. Experience the fresh air and the boundless beauty of the expansive nature. Arrange for a friendly volleyball tournament in the beach. Celebrate the Independence Day with lots of delicious treat and drinks.

Remember that wind is the only disturbing element when it comes to nautical picnic.. it is hence advisable to put extra attention to choose a place for the day's meal. Choose a wind-resistant place to have your meal. Choose a venue away from the water - may be behind the rocks.

While planning for a nautical picnic don't forget to take the necessary things - especially corkscrew and a bottle opener, napkins, plastic container. Make sure that you have taken the trash bags to carry away the disposables while preparing for a nautical picnic.

Picnic On A Yacht
Just imagine spending July 4 with all your dear ones away from the land, in the midst of the endless turquoise ocean. All you have to do is to hire a yacht and board on it with all your equipments and foods. Many of the yachts do not permit cooking, while special permission may be sought if you want to cook food in yacht.

Since there will not be much modes of entertainment except for some like singing, playing guitars and dancing, cooking together with your friends and family would give you very different pleasure. Do not forget to take a small music system and some of the patriotic numbers. After all July 4 is our Independence Day and we don't want to forget the story of the struggle that our brave brothers had done to free us from the British rule.

A Special Drink To Celebrate July 4
Wherever you arrange for a picnic -- on the beach or on a yacht, a special drink has to be there to add essence to your enjoyment on the 4th of July. What about a special fruit juice? And just imagine the punch you are going to get with little bit of Vodka added to it. Here is the recipe to make the special picnic drink.

How To Make
8 oz. Of vodka
8 qtr. Cranberry juice
1 cups lemon juice
12 cups orange juice
12cup pineapple juice
4 slices of oranges
little amount of chilled ginger ale
Mix them properly and combine the vodka with the mixture in a large container. Stir it well after adding the ginger ale and serve it with some orange slices added to it. This is for two people. You can make as much as you need. If you can arrange for a large ice bucket then that will give you some extra pleasure undoubtedly.

Ours is really a diverse nation with dynamic people. Every year we celebrate our Independence Day with lots of fun. But have we ever thought of our friends who stays away from us?
