Scam Trap

As little and light as feather; a feeling as fine as silk; and much of nothing is this empty talk of mine yet many a man shall sort to dine.  Still many a man will gather; to seat in a tight cluster to hear of this and that and the many fables I blabber. Could they be but wiser to see my little scam, to stop this cunning plot and put me in a jam? But no they do not see, how foolish - they only want to be - rich and content, in comfort and wealth, without toil or sweat - what a fable; what a farce!

Behold the mighty train of men who wish to reign as lord and master over a realm they seek not to conquer but to dream of in vain. A fleet of wishful thinkers; a tonne of careless brooders; before my feet they grovel like common sheep for slaughter. But the death shall be slow and painless right up to the very end, till my chest is full and theirs' empty; they'll be but ignorant men!

Yet ignorance shall excuse them not, for in greed they only sort. And that was the very carcass that led the vulture's beak. If they themselves had not of sly, then sly may just have passed them by. If they were but of good and more, this thing of mine they'll have found a bore. But this thing, this grand subterfuge, this grass in guise of gold; how I so mould it - look the way they behold and gaze like lost children in the cold - tongues drooping wet like chained dogs before a plate of juicy bones.

I gaze, I wonder how much man could be let by instinct; passion that only paves the way to greed; greed to lust; lust to unworthy desiring and then finally the great fall! And fall they do, I bear my sympathy - if only they had not been so greedy, this scam trap would have only passed them by!
