There are several essential oils that you can use to treat common ailments or to cure emotional stress. Essentials oils are sold at salons, new age boutiques and at health care stores. If you want to use essential oils as a part of your beauty routine make sure that you only use them externally.

Basil is one of the essential oils that you can use. It offers a top note scent that can range from sweet to spicy. It is typically used to treat depression and infections. You can also use it to externally treat: bronchitis, colds, constipation, nervousness, stress and rheumatism.

Chamomile is another great essential oil that you can use. It offers a middle note scent that is offers a sweet herbal aroma. It is usually used to treat acne, colitis, gout, depression and digestive problems. It is also effective for treating headaches.

Clove is an essential oil that can be used as an analgesic, an expectorant or as a stimulant. It has a warming effect that utilizes a middle base not that is sweet or spicy. It is used to treat colds, indigestion, mouth sores, muscle tension and as a disinfectant.

If you are looking for a treatment for PMS symptoms then you may want to consider using the essential oil hyssop. This essential oils has a warm and sweet scent. It is considered a stimulant and it is usually used to treat mental tension, stomach cramps and water tension. You should not use this essential oil if you are pregnant.
