The fusion of these sounds is greatly related to Los Kjarjas as well as making the Lambada popular too. Of course, there are other forms of music in Bolivia such as sayas, cumbia and huaynos are also greatly played today as well.

Brazil
Another country that has a long history of great musical development is the diverse country of Brazil. Their music ranges from the earlier part of the 20th century, bringing the samba into the light of the modern Musica Popular Brasileira. The also have an internationally known type of music called Bossa nova.

Chile
The music of the Andes, which is Chilean, shows the vibrant spirit of the Altiplano people. The Nueva Cancion was also originated there. The national dance of Chile is the ever popular Cueca.
