One of the most popular psychic tools is the dream catcher. Since time immemorial, people have used the psychic dream catcher to "catch" and trap bad dreams, and invite pleasant dreams in its place. The psychic dream catcher isn't just used for that; these psychic trinkets are also known for catching evil spirits with its web and they keep you safe during the vulnerable hours while you sleep.

How to Create Your Own Psychic Dream Catcher in 7 Steps

These days, dream catchers are a very common psychic accessory and they're widely available in store. So let's say you want a more personalized dream catcher, let me show you how to create your very own psychic dream catcher in 7 very easy steps.

This psychic project will need the following materials:

- 1 piece 5" metal ring
- 4 yards of suede lacing (1/8 inch diameter, this is a leather-like kind of thread)
- 3 yards imitation sinew (you can find this at a Native American, New Age or Spiritual shop)
- 1 small conch (conches come in different designs, choose whichever design you like to use)
- 1 set of 12 crow beads (this set should be of the same color, we'll call this "color 1" set)
- 1 set of 6 crow beads (choose a different color for this set, we'll refer to this as "color 2" set)
- 12 Feathers (you're free to use any variety you would like)
- A pair of scissors
- Glue
- Clothes peg (to keep everything alongside one another while you make your psychic dream catcher)

Procedure:

1. Cut 2/12 yards of suede lacing and glue one end on the metal ring; use the clothes peg to hold it in place. Then, continue wrapping the lacing around the ring until the metal ring is completely covered. Don't forget to glue the ends as well, and make sure the glue is all dried up before you remove the clothes peg.

2. Next, start to make the web for your ring. Do this by tying one end of the imitation sinew to the ring. Make 9 half hitch knots throughout the ring (about 1 1/2 inches apart from each other). Remember to keep the thread snug between the knots.

3. Now begin with the next inner level of your web by tying hitches in the middle of the thread that you have already weaved on row 1. Carry on tying hitches around and around to make inner layers, until you end up with a small hole at the middle of your web. Once you get to the center of your ring, place your thread into a double knot and seal it with a drop of glue. Remember remove any excess piece of thread from your web when you're done with this step.

4. Now that you have a wrapped and webbed ring, you will now make that loop to hang your psychic dream catcher. For this, cut a 12 inch piece of suede lacing and tie the two ends together in a secured knot. Then, on top your ring, attach the lacing by slipping the loop end through the ring, and then around the ring, and over the knot. Pull your lacing tight to fasten it in place. You are now half-way in completing your psychic dream catcher!

5. Let's add the hanging sections of your psychic dream catcher. You need 3 pieces of suede lacing that are each 8 inches long. On both sides of your ring, tiea piece of suede lacing about one third of the way up each side of the ring using a double knot. Next, string 3 crow beads onto each piece of lacing and have a knot secure the ends (alternately have a "color 1", followed by a "color 2", then another "color 1" bead).

6. Next is the middle dangling portion -- use the third piece of 8 inch suede lacing to attach the small conch to the middle of the ring (use the suede lacing to tie the conch to the ring, with both ends of the lacing dangling). Slip on 3 crow beads on each side of the lacing and secure with a knot on the ends (have the same alternate pattern as the previous hanging sections of your psychic dream catcher).

7. For the last and finishing touch on your psychic craft -- insert 2 feathers each into the beads of the adjacent sides your psychic dream catcher (glue them if ever you need to) -- and the 8 other feathers must be placed on both sides of your conch (4 on each side).

You're done! You've just made your very own psychic dream catcher in just 7 simple steps. Now you're all set to catch bad dream and enjoy dreamland.
