The Different Therapies Of Depression

The depression is the mood of the person when he or she suffers a nervous breakdown. The mental illness of the person extends to an immeasurable level, where he loses all his qualities and behavioral traits. He is unable to determine his state of existence. The depression is categorized in different ways and each is dealt with by a distinct treatment processes. To follow the treatment procedures a lot of therapies are present. The processes of the therapies are considered important as per the different disorder states.

A depressed person may feel exhausted, gloomy, ill-tempered, lethargic, unenthusiastic, and indifferent. Colloquially, a person feeling low is referred to as depressed, but clinical depression is a more severe condition leading to a pessimistic and negative thought flow. In its most serious form depression can lead a person to contemplate suicide.

Different therapies
The therapies are the methods used to cure the depression. They deal distinctly and have different procedures. The results of depression can be very serious. If at the right moment they are not treated, then the person may commit suicidal attempts. The different therapies are group therapy, individual therapy, medication management, family therapy, psychotherapy, cognitive behavioral therapy narrative therapy, interpersonal skills and supportive therapy.

The group therapy is the treatment of the person, through a personal approach and comprises the formation of groups and friend circles. The individual therapy is the considered to be very risky, but in this, the person finds peace without the company of others. The medication management of the person is really required for himself where he can control himself wherever it is required.

Cognitive therapy is combined with the behavioral patterns and the interpersonal skills that make the person well mannered. The negative thoughts that are creeping in the minds of the person are translated and corrected by different people. So the communication process can be continued for the destabilizing the depression of the person.

The narrative therapy gives the person distinctly and makes him to realize to know the different facts. The supportive therapy supports those persons to discuss all their problems and give them a shoulder to get help. The family therapy suggests staying and living together with different types of people.

Conclusion
The different therapies treat the person according to their problem. It is very important to determine the person's needs so that the right therapy can be applied to the person who is suffering.
