Existence is Perfection

Anselm's theory of God deals with his existence in mind and in reality. He gives the definition of God as of the greatest being. Also he declares that every person who hears this definition of God understands what it means. His assertion is as follows: if God does not exist, then there must be something greater than God. This very something has to be greater than God, but it is not possible, as only God is the greatest possible being and nothing more exists. So, it brings to the conclusion that God really exists.
One more researcher of the theological theories Descartes in his Meditations offers another variant of the argument. He finds the idea of God as the perfect being as real as the suggestion of the existence of the shape. He states that the idea of God existence as the shape is very clear for him as his mathematics. Initially, it is may be unclear and have some common features with sophism. He says that unlike other statements, he can convince himself that the existence and the essence of God are different things, and as a result God is not supposed to exist. He adds that discussing this question more attentively, he came to the conclusion that the essence and the existence of God can not be separated. It is contradictory to think of God as of something, which does not exist or of something that is not perfect. He compares it with the idea that three lines that compose the triangle can not separate from each other or it is impossible to separate the mountain from its foot.
As a result, he is sure that God exists, moreover, has the essence. He gives God all sorts of perfection, as the existence itself is already the perfection.
