Have you ever met a successful executive, a man or a woman, who has a golden touch for business while at the same time, is carrying a history of failing relationships, hurts, confusion and multiple divorces? Well, some say - wrongly, that in order to succeed in business; one might need to exhaust their emotional and mental energies at their workplace, so there is nothing left to share at home.

The secret of success in both relationships at home and in the workplace lies not in the innate gene of success, but in acquired skills.

After working with many executives relating to others: the ones they love, as well as those they manage in their workplace, it is safe to conclude: You can have the best of both worlds: reliable, successful relationships at work and thriving, vibrant and loving intimacy at home!

Here is the core of that issue: the kind of behaviors one needs to perform in order to excel in the workplace, in most cases, is the opposite set of behaviors you want to practice as a spouse, a lover and a family member.

A partial list of behaviors for advancement at work: the ability to think and act strategically, developing a competitive edge, secrecy, never encouraging physical closeness, stick-to-itiveness at all costs, never take 'no' for an answer, having plan B and more.

A partial list of behaviors for promoting intimacy in relationships: an ability to confide in the other, flexibility, trust, never having a plan B while in this relationship, no secrets, promote physical closeness and more.

The good news is that you can and should learn all those relationships skills for the purpose of practicing and achieving relationship success in both arenas.
