Necessity Of Integrated Community

The sense of true foundation building in regards to the idea of our world becoming that of a global village does not seem far.
It comes by a phrase coined by one Michael McLuan, describing a world "that has been shrunk by modern advancements in communication." When analyzing this whole idea at a perch, the comings of substantial contradictions arise. It is conclusive that our world does seemingly lie smaller because of these many advancements but before we embrace thought that our world is becoming more unified, we must then see past the fallacies of all markings and grasp reality.
The indirect battle we face consciously is between our physical urge to grasp and sustain further enlightenment or knowledge while in the same parallel seeming to neglect any sense of emotional connectedness. This conflict is fundamental within the nature of narcissism and when reflecting over our modernizing world, how could there be a sense of emotional connection? It is evident that even with our more efficient ways in undertaking information, there is no interrelation from person to person emotionally and isn't that a necessity in any creation of an interdependent community? So really we are continuing in the same fragmented procedures and our civilization is only that of egocentrism, despite any apprehensions of moving forward. Therein, it is our clouded perceptions within the usual standard of conscious that have us in a greater state of awareness but in all physical probabilities of our introspective egos, the connection from person to person emotionally has not increased enough over the masses to bring any validation of a world becoming interdependent.
Even the most optimistic and yet realistic observer would say that the time in which our world becomes considered a home for all nations and peoples, who are able to live with a circle of interdependence is beyond any advancements in technology, even in spite of overall manifestations to the many parallels we create.
