Mindset #1 - Get Organized

Plan your work! As with most any business there needs to be a plan of action.  What are your goals, how do you intend to attain them, and what is the time frame in which you expect to achieve your goals.

You also need to be aware of any additional resources needed for this online business such as advertising budgets, software and hardware needs, and of course time. If you are deficient in any of theses areas according to your projected needs then it's best to address them beforehand or perhaps alter your marketing plan accordingly.

Proper planning will minimize your frustrations while maximizing your productivity. You'll find that a realistic and executable plan will keep you both encouraged and motivated. These two emotional assets should NOT be underestimated being they can make up for many unforeseen deficiencies you may encounter in the future.

Mindset # 2 - Keep your cool

You will probably find that at times your marketing plan is not yielding the results you anticipated. This should be expected from time to time so DON'T get discouraged or emotional. Remember this is a business and it requires level headed thinking. By introducing emotions you're promising yourself additional stress and a falloff in productivity.
