One of the best ways to succeed at making money online is by following proven and documented experience and suggestions from someone who is already successful at making money online. For people who are already self employed, it amazes me that many banks and financial institutions have self employed 'gurus' and who manage and help business. Surely one of the best people to go to for advice regarding running your own business is someone who is already successful at running a business? The guru's aren't self employed, their interest is with their employer. To learn how to be successful in what you are doing, go to someone who is already successful at what they are doing.
As a classically trained conservatoire pianist, I learnt to play the piano from highly qualified teachers. I learnt from people who were specialist's in their chosen fields, so it seems to me, that if you want to learn how to do something well and successfully, you should learn from someone who is already doing it successfully.
When you learn from a mentor, they have been there before. They have more than likely gone through the same struggles, emotions and pitfalls that you have experienced. They will have been there day after day, night after night, working hard at what they believe in. Ultimately, it is they who have reaped the rewards showing that their hard work isn't an overnight success. To get where they are and to achieve what they have achieved, it has taken many days, months and years. By learning from what they are able to show you, how to deal with certain obstacles and to provide extra support and help, you should use a mentor wherever you can. Use them to you advantage and learn from people who are already successful rather than from someone who wishes they were.
