Do you have a toddler who wants things done their way or no way ?

It's finally arrived, your child has reached that age that other parents have warned you about... 'The Terrible Two's'

Do you think there's a way you could control your child behaviour, stop the toddler tantrums and put an end, before it even begins, to the terrible two's ?

When it comes to parenting, how many times have wehad to resort to bribery for fear of tantrums, screaming, crying or worse, but it doesn't have to be this way.

We think as parents, we should be able to deal with things naturally, but parenting is a skill which can and must be learned, if we
are to deal with the up's and down's of living with toddlers.

As with other skills we've learned along the way, with lots of practice and repetition, you can also learn the skill of parenting, which you can build upon and improve in your arsenal of tools to deal with any situation that your toddler throws at you.

Parenting skills can be adapted and changed to suit differing ages and when it really boils down to it, is for us as parents to actually admit that we don't have the right skill set to be able to deal with the situation in hand

Yes, put your hand up and say that you are willing to take advise and learn from those that have mastered the skill of dealing with kids of any age and use techniques, to deal with any situation.

Parenting is not a in-built thing and kids as we know, don't come with instructions, so therefore it is better to be taught from someone who has been there, done that and bought the T-shirt

Believe it or not, the so-called 'terrible two's' is a natural behaviour and a healthy part of growing up and the learning development of child behaviour.

Managing the situation and being able to turn it from a demolition derby into a happy lifestyle, is something that CAN be managed and understanding and applying different techniques, you can get your toddler to do what you want.

By getting these basic skills under your belt, you can also build on them and develop other parenting skills, as your toddler develops.

Investing in learning your parenting skills, you will gain a better understanding of your child, which in turn will help to aid your child's personal development.

By readjusting our own thinking about the terrible two's and thinking of it as a way that your child is expressing their own independence, personal development and using it as an opportunity for you to learn additional life skills that will be with you for life.
