Every woman loves flowers
But not every woman
Flourishes, nor flowers fully
Of thee I ask, flower for me
Though I sometimes be
As bashful as a peony
Carefree with levity
As the larkspur unsure
Of its purpose and direction
Nevertheless my desire
Is passionate and persistent
As the snapdragon is resilient
Though I be youthful
As the lilac is zestful
Know my thoughts are pure
Like the sunflower
That does amazingly endure
Intense heat and elements
Affliction leads only to effervescence
For undoubtedly I'm awakened
In your manifold presence
Therefore show your love lively
Like a tulip uprightly
Declaring love unashamedly
Blossom majestically
As does an Oriental lily
In spring time with its fragrance
Manifesting enrapturing elegance
Be dear as a freesia in all innocence
That delights with its tender essence
Befriend me like an alstroemeria
Be joyful like the birds of paradise
That are always happy and nice
Provide me welcoming hospitality
Nurturing like a anthurium
Intrigue me like an emporium
Darling sweet pea
My delicate pleasure
Be patient with me
As would an aster
In all its glorious allure
Give me Christ-like fidelity
As does the chrysanthemum
Give me faith and hope
So through life I can cope
My love for you will be sure
Continually open opportunity's door
Possess character and be courageous
Brave and strong like a gladiolus
Give me admiration
Like does heather
No matter the season or weather
Be consistent and dependable
For the rewards are exponential
My love is beyond comprehensible
Fiery and unquenchable
Believing and indefatigable
Intoxicatingly unbelievable
As the hyacinth most reliable
Yet be sincere and heartfelt
As the hydrangea when smelt
Receive my compliments
Like the praiseworthy iris
Exuding lavish sentiments
When the day has gone and went
Be as the lisianthus outgoing
Your love bubbling and showing
My orchid, cymbidium charming
My most admirable beloved belle
Radiant as the ranunculus
With you all for me is well
As when one gazes at the statice
The thought of you prompts remembrance
Of the most glorious person and pleasure
As the stock's longevity of beauty
You my timeless princess only get better
The passing of time shall draw us closer
When storms come emotionally
Be ready to under gird me
As I shall also sustain thee
Be spiritual and heavenly
Like the delphinium, hybrid
That endears me with serenity
Be enthusiastic and uplifting
Like the bouvardia ascending
Be my pride and adoration
Like the carnation
That captivates me
Sweetheart unique and splendid
As is the amaryllis
Resurrecting hope near ended
Anticipate my arrival home
Like the eager anemone
My rose of enrapturing love
Full of blessings from above
Surpassing all I dream of
Your every curve luscious
Your gentle speech precious
I your knight shall be chivalrous
As a daffodil divinely designed
To yield in a moment in time
I will be your sanctuary sublime
Like Queen Anne's lace
Daringly will I seek your face
As the protea, shall I be your king
Bountifully will I provide everything
Triumphantly shall you rejoice and sing
As we celebrate the Creator's love eternally
Arise, arouse, arrest, and overwhelm me!
