Also to save some money, the premade ones are really pricey, and also to be able to build it the way your kitty will like it best. If you have some basic handyman abilities, scraps of plywood and carpet, a cat with a good imagination you can build a cat tower for your very own kitty.

Cats need to have exercise. A cat without exercise is usually a fat cat. A fat cat is really a bored cat. A bored cat is often a destructive cat. A destructive cat will use your newly hung living room drapes as her personal climbing tower and then wonder why you are yelling. She doesn't actually care why you are yelling, but will wonder why you believe climbing is such a bad thing. Cats need exercise, climbing is excellent physical exercise...!...
