The Wonderful World Of Nintendo Wii Just Got Better

It's hard to believe the first version of Wii barely came out almost two years ago. Nintendo has literally exploded the market, yet once again, with such a seemingly simple idea.

Interactive video games, and my, how it has grown. In such a short time, the original games released with the Wii almost appear retro. But they're still as enjoyable as they were the first time you began interacting with them.
Luckily now they're going one step further with their Wii Media Downloads. Your gaming console is now able to download music, your favorite TV shows, films and the freshest software.

What exactly does this mean? It means you can play a game you download to your Wii-while downloading yet another game, simultaneously.

They've brought all of your entertainment needs into one small, white console.
Of course a great service like this will cost you a bit-but not as much as you might think. They are asking for a nominal one-time fee and then you'll get access to all of their game databases. There is no recurring billing at all. The cost is just under the average price of a Wii game. You can find simple instructions at Nintendo's main page.

Another thing the Wii gaming industry is focusing on are bringing the classics you loved into the new gaming platform. Some of the gaming companies are working with Nintendo specifically to give you new versions of golden oldies. The most popular have been re-vamped versions, Mario Brothers or Zelda. But there are a few new interesting ones like Okami and a new Guitar Hero.

The last plus Nintendo is offering Wii-fans is a virtual console download. And again, yes, there's a fee. Don't buy into those random sites offering everything for free. If it sounds too good to be true, it'll probably torrent you with spam. Happy 2-year-one-month anniversary, Wii. We can't even imagine what you'll do next!
